I love all those old headstones! And you've done them well in B&W.
I found a cemetery in Missouri that I would like to go photograph when I get a chance..I would think some of them would be from the early 1800s, but I am not sure.
There's a really cool graveyard in Virginia City from the days of Silver Mining....we'll take you there some day...I'd love to see what you make of it (very stark, not a lot of greenery or shrubbery).
I guess I'm not alone, as I love old graveyards. The headstone designs especially appeal to me. You have captured the quiet beauty of the place perfectly.

In all seriousness, I have never felt so inspired by a graveyard. Love these photos. I kinda want to do a little exploring myself.

ReplyDeleteYou make graveyards look wonderful. Wow!! Amazing pictures
ReplyDeleteI love your work...so crisp and yet soft. I especially love the flowers in sharp contrast to the blurry background. Love you, Luce!
