I'm now officially 53, and 15 weeks into my 53-week project. My mom and I share joint March birthdays, and what better thing to do than treat ourselves to the
Chihuly show at the MFA in Boston. I couldn't stop looking, and taking photos -- each piece was exquisite and light-filled and awe inspiring.
If you live in the Boston area, or if the show comes to your city, make sure to see it. The scale and power and delicacy and color and light will knock your socks off.
Happy April, all!
Chihuly is amazing and you captured it all so well. beautiful!

ReplyDeleteOne of the best art installations I have ever seen was the Chihuly show at the New York Botanical Garden a couple of years ago....all his lovely sculptures in outdoor and greenhouse settings...His work is amazing...and you captured it well.
These photographs are amazing, so much colour, contrast and detail. You certainly have a very good eye for the abstract.
