the 53 project : week 16 - signs of spring

It's the little details of spring that really touch me, and fill me with hope and anticipation.  Oh, of course we all love those flashy daffodils and tulips and crocuses.  But in the woods and fields here on Cape Cod, you have to look closer to see the subtler beauty.  Get down on your belly.  Lie back and look up to the sky.

Here:

Puddles and airplanes, tiny buds and new grass, twin weeds and a sumac grove.... that's spring at this very moment.   Don't blink, or you'll miss it.

Check out other 52 week projects over on Focus 52!

  1. I like the little things too, especially your fourth image. There is something about it that reminds me of camping when I was a little girl. It's lovely.

  9. I love the "feel" of your photos... the softness and simplicity. What do you use for editing? I particularly like the effect you used on "sunseeker".
