aging in place : 53 project week 48

Imagine the lives lived
behind these doors,
footsteps up the stairway,
a rustling in the hayloft,
a glimpse from an upper window,
the stirring of wind through the eaves.

  10. Hi Lucy,
You've found a lot of beauty in decay in this collection! My favorite is the third image. I like the design, sense of light, and the feeling of time gone by. The wallpaper reminds me of a William Morris design.

  11. Fantastic. You have a wonderful eye for these old places. I love them and always wonder about the previous owners who lived there. But January is the only time I'll venture into the woods here for fear of snakes.

  12. These are wonderful, Lucy. I'm also drawn to the mystery behind old buildings, and wonder about the stories they have to tell.
(I also seem to find hearts in nature...love those photos, too : )
