Spent a long weekend

with Dan on Block Island

a few weeks ago --

beautiful,

magical,

exquisite in every way.

Morning light, wildlife, 

hiking and biking,

stormy ocean &

sundown over the bluffs.

When do we go back?

two by two

For an hour or so this week

I was transported back to childhood as

 I got to play with the most amazing

rare antique Noah's ark.

While Dan repaired some of the birds and animals 

(new little moose antler, tiny little spider leg),

I got to arrange them in marching order, two by two,

on the custom stand he built,

making their way down to the ark.
