last light : 53 project week 28

I've been playing with my new wide-angle lens -- a departure for me, since I'm usually focused up close on the details rather than the bigger picture.  Here are a few images I took a few nights ago, chasing the last light of the day.

saturday @ little sandy pond

Just about a year ago brother-in-law/Uncle Jeffery came east for a visit at Grandma's Susie's house, and he visited again yesterday, along with his coworker Michael. Hannah and Fallon stayed in the water for hours, floating and talking and boating, while the rest of us ate and lounged around and then did some swimming and boating, too.

A quick thundershower came through, and then the sun returned for a lovely end to the day.

biking and boats and blue skies

What could be better than spending a gorgeous almost-summer afternoon biking with my son to Woods Hole? Blue skies, boats, biking, and a banana-blueberry smoothie at Pie in the Sky. Beautiful.
