the 53 project : week 12

A long walk on Long Beach on a windy still-chilly day is guaranteed to clear the winter from your soul.

Soon enough, the beach will be filled with people, and the mermaid won't have to swim alone.

  1. You don't have any snow left neither? I'm beginning to think that there are only a few places left in the world with snow; Moscow, The Arctic and the prairie provinces!

Your photos are wonderful. Enjoy your week!

  2. I really like the long dock with the no trespassing sign. Great photo!!! I took a walk on horseneck beach in the winter and it was nice -- so different than the summer.

  6. Although it's the Atlantic, those shore pictures have an ominous feeling today. That one that's only water could be any scale. What kind of effect do you use to get the weathered effect as on the mermaid photo?

  9. Lucy, I always enjoy the textures of nature and dynamic compositions that you capture. You are able to find simplicity, which makes for strong images. And, wow, no snow! I envy you that.
