footsteps up the stairway,
a rustling in the hayloft,
a glimpse from an upper window,
the stirring of wind through the eaves.

ReplyDeleteYou've found a lot of beauty in decay in this collection! My favorite is the third image. I like the design, sense of light, and the feeling of time gone by. The wallpaper reminds me of a William Morris design.
i loved that wallpaper. it's little touches like that that gets me thinking about who lived there...
DeleteFantastic. You have a wonderful eye for these old places. I love them and always wonder about the previous owners who lived there. But January is the only time I'll venture into the woods here for fear of snakes.
